Buying Baby Clothes: Getting the right size

ar_giftThere’s nothing more frustrating than getting a lovely present for your baby that is too small. It is so embarrassing to have to tell your friend that they bought the wrong size and have them return it. And then the poor friend! How upsetting it is to know that you misjudged the baby’s size and bought too small!

I know that when I go shopping for clothes for my daughter it is so hard not to buy the first cute outfit that looks like it will fit. There are so many adorable clothes out there and she’d look fantastic in so many of them. But she’s a big girl, and I just know that she’ll grow out of the stuff that is geared to her age in no time flat.

How to Be an Angel to a New Mom

Although everyone told my husband and I that we would be up all night, every night, dealing with a newborn, we just assumed they meant that we would have to wake up a few times to change a diaper and feed the baby.

No one told us that being “up all night” literally meant being up perhaps every hour on the hour to deal with various kinds of cries, trial and error of burping techniques, spit ups, and any other discomforts our baby would have. And no one told us that this would happen at night AND in the morning AND in the afternoon AND in the evening AND at night again.
